The components of our products are mainly made in Europe. They are then transformed and assembled in our workshop, in France.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
In the face of growing concerns about sustainable consumption, the PEFC (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) advocates for the sustainable development of the forest. This certification gives the buyer the guarantee that a product bearing the PEFC stamp is part of a sustainable approach.

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 has been established at the beginning of the 1990s as a response to the need from buyers and the general public to find fabrics that are no danger to health. Before the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 was introduced, there was no reliable product label for the buyer to be able to judge the human-ecological quality of the fabrics, nor any criteria for companies in the textile industry allowing a valid assessment of possible harmful substances contained in these products. Thus, the Austrian institute for research on fabrics (ÖTI) and the Hohenstein research Institute have developed together the Oeko-tex® Standard 100 based on their already existing control norms.
The control and certification system of the Oeko-tex Standard 100 satisfies multiple requirements of the consumers on the safety of modern fabrics, responding to the risks inherent in complex production conditions in the textile industry : globalisation, important international task distribution, differences in mentality in regards to the use of potentially problematic materials.

Created in 1992, The European Ecolabel is the only official european ecological label usable in all countries part of the European Union. It is issued in France by AFNOR Certification, an independent certification organisation. It is a voluntary certification mark for products and services. It rewards the products and services that are the most respectful of the environment. Its criteria guarantee the products’ use capacity and the reduction of their environmental impact during their whole life cycle.
ECOLABEL EU labelled : Panel fabrics – partitions
Since January 1st, 2016, some myO products are subject to the eco-contribution, which is added to the article’s rate.
In order to recycle end-of-life furniture items, France has put in place regulations that organise the collection and recycling of these products. The recycling of used equipment can be done in two ways: either by recycling raw materials (dismantling of products and recovery of reusable raw materials), or through solidarity-based reuse markets.
This regulation is based on the principle of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), which imposes two solutions on manufacturers and marketers (importers, etc.): create its own recycling system, or join an eco-organisation (approved by the state to take charge of the collection and recycling of defined product categories).
The Eco-contribution is shown on top of the selling rate and subject to VAT. It is non-refundable and only applies to customers liable for VAT in France. It is passed on to the end customer.
HOYEZ SAS has chosen to join the Eco-organisation Valdélia.

The ISO 14 001 (v2004) norm is an international reference text that lists the minimum requirements that an organisation (company, community, etc.) must meet in order to receive the ISO. Our company, as well as the big majority of the companies we work with, meet those requirements. This means that we are comitted to respecting the regulations, control our environmental impact and set up an approach to constantly improve. An independent external audit allows a validation of this approach.
